Blackrock Neurotech, a leading developer of implantable brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) and important part of Anitrinia’s portfolio, announced its partnership with Cognixion, a leader in brain-computer, augmented reality, artificial intelligence and neural user interface technology. Blackrock Neurotech will act as a non-exclusive distributor of Cognixion’s Axon-R, a non-invasive, wearable device that enables precise measurement and modulation of brain activity through visual stimuli, biofeedback, and neurofeedback. Axon-R is intended solely for investigational and educational use and is not currently cleared by the FDA as a medical device.
Axon-R offers non-invasive brain monitoring designed for foundational training and research. Paired with Blackrock Neurotech’s implantable BCIs, this platform enables synchronized surface EEG and implanted data collection, fueling deeper insights and innovation. Together, these tools empower institutions to advance neurotechnology education, research, and clinical impact.
